Parasol Computational Resources

Overview

Computing in the Parasol laboratory is oriented around the Linux and Unix operating systems (HP-UX, IRIX and Solaris). We operate workstations in our offices and laboratories and maintain two hp research platforms in a dedicated machine room.

We also support undergraduate and graduate instruction for our faculty members. Many students will use the systems each semester for classes such as CPSC 311, CPSC 605, CPSC 614, CPSC 620, CPSC 626, CPSC 654 and CPSC 659.
